Smile Transitions is a lower cost, esthetic option for some patients who are not quite willing or able to move forward with restorative treatment. This flexible appliance slides over patients' existing dentition for instant esthetic improvement. Prescribe this appliance to dramatically improve the appearance of one's smile and increase patient desire to transition to more definitive treatment in the future. Smile Transitions fits comfortably over the natural undercuts of the patient's dentition and does not require cementation. Indicated for patients with crooked, stained, worn, broken or missing teeth, Smile Transitions may also be prescribed as an esthetic transitional implant healing appliance or a diagnostic bite opening appliance. In-lab working time is 5 days.
